Hi, and welcome to my site! I am a guitarist and “lowercase c” composer who specializes in contemporary guitar, including both classical and electric. I grew up absolutely loving guitar, and you couldn’t get it out of my hands! And although a lot has changed, I’m happy to say that music and guitar have been a constant in my life. Not only that, but now I get to share that with both audience members, and my students.

I perform in several new music ensembles, including the composer/multi-instrumentalist music outfit Love Can’t Save You, Padmè (LCSYP). LCSYP just released an ambitious new album “Funny Dancers.” Our previous album, “Far Calls” was called “decidedly unique,” and “absolutely gorgeous” by Cannock Chase Radio. I am currently writing and recording my debut solo electric guitar album, which I expect to release in 2026. I live in San Francisco with my ceramicist fiancé and our two cats named Bean and Cheese.

Teaching

I have over 15 years teaching experience, from beginners through advanced students. I specialize in teaching classical guitar, but I also love teaching electric guitar and other styles of music. I am so lucky to have long time students, including some that started as young as three and are now in high school! My students have performed in masterclasses for Sergio Assad, David Russell, and Ben Verdery, among others. They’ve also participated in festivals and competitions. But nothing makes me happier than watching a real spark of joy and curiosity when they’ve got a guitar in their hands.
